I woke up for work, only to get a phone call (literally about 2 minutes later) saying that SCHOOL WAS CANCELLED! I looked out the window at the slush and snow and laughed because it didn't look that bad, but was SO THANKFUL for the whooole day off.
I read, painted nails, took a bath, and made some soup before heading out to play with kd, rd, cz, and hz where I ate three amazing muffins (yes, three) and a little steamed hot chocolate.
I am SO BLESSED by the friends God has surrounded me by (and their beautiful babies). I don't know what I would do without them.
On another note, these last two weeks have been "Operation: Clean out the refrigerator, freezer, and cupboards". I tend to like to stock up on stuff and it's just gotten obsessive. So, I've been slowly clearing out unnecessary stock of groceries.
Today's goal: use up lentils, frozen ginger, and frozen bananas.
